What is an Agency Agreement?

Agents love when a buyer or seller signs an agency agreement because that means they officially have a client that they’re exclusively working with. Some buyers and sellers are reluctant to sign agreements because they might not be sure if this is the agent they want to work with. Agents want the agreement signed because they don’t want to spend hours and hours working with a client who might end up signing with a different agent. There’s no guarantees of getting paid.

When is the Right Time to Sign an Agency Agreement?

Some agents might require a buyer to sign an agreement before the first showing, some agents might show a client a few homes to establish rapport before mentioning an agency agreement.

As a buyer or seller, there’s nothing better to an agent than a client willing to commit to them and their services. This shows that you respect their time and their services when you commit your time and business. An agent will be willing to work harder for you when you’ve signed.

Our agents are ready to sign agency agreements whenever you are! We’re more than happy to sit down and talk you through the process as well. Reach out when you’re ready.
