Haunted Forest

Haunted Forest came to fruition by a group of individuals who were riding their horses back to their camp in the dark in the mountains of Utah. The paranoia of walking or even being in the woods at dark has sent chills up people’s spines for over 30 years. Horror movies and other haunted attractions leverage people’s fear of darkness in the woods to create an experience like no other. Although Haunted Forest isn’t a haunted house, it’s been one of the industry’s most successful scream parks. Since 1990, the Haunted Forest has grown to acquire over 1,000,000 square-feet of terror, becoming one of the largest haunted attractions nationwide. Each year the Haunted Forest introduces a new layout due to the lack of permanent structures making it a flexible haunted attraction in Utah.

The Seasons are Changing

Utah is well-known for having excellent haunted attractions. Halloween is a big part of Utah culture and pre-Halloween celebrations begin in early September. Pumpkin Spice Lattes and haunted houses sum up a Utah fall season. There are many more haunted houses in Utah and other haunted attractions in Utah other than these listed. Asylum 49, Castle of Chaos and Strangling Brothers Utah Haunted Circus are events you should consider checking out. A wide-variety of haunted attractions from family friendly to mandatory waivers as actors touch you are available. If these aren’t your type of fall activities, a nice canyon drive up to Snowbird for Oktoberfest is something to check out!
