Pushing Tin is a great family oriented trail located in an area not known for mountain biking yet. Located near the Desert Canyons neighborhood this trail goes under the freeway near the St. George Airport and Arizona Strip. The first portion is great for kids or novice riders but gets a little harder in the second half. Still doable for young riders but a little more challenging. Before crossing under the freeway, the trail moves fast with corners that don’t cut down on your pace. There’s a few river crossings after passing under the freeway and mild slick rock obstacles with some hill climbs. Be cautious approaching the river crossings especially after a rain storm as water carries debris, moves quickly and in high volume.
